Take some time out for some spiritual renewal in the midst of the busyness that surrounds all of us at this time of year. Take some sacred time to pause and remember the beauty of Advent — embrace the silence and stillness that marks the beauty of this season.
The retreat is an opportunity to come away to a quiet place to spent time in prayer and reflection with inputs and handouts on the core themes of Advent to help the retreatants prepare for Christmas. Limited (one to one) spiritual direction will also be available over the weekend if anyone would like to avail of it. The retreatants can also join the monastic community in celebrating the liturgy of the hours. Confessions available on Saturday afternoon.
The retreat runs from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime. The Cistercian College annual Carol Service will be hosted in the Abbey Church at 4.00 pm and all retreatants are welcome to attend this wonderful event.
