Dom Malachy & Community are delighted to receive delivery of the new Opel Corsa E from Young’s Garage Roscrea.
For the last few years we’ve operated two diesel vehicles which have now been traded in for this fully electric car with zero emissions. It has now been blessed by Dom Malachy.
As ever, we’ve had great support from Colin & Donald at Youngs. MSJ has a long history of dealing with Young’s – stretching back to when Fr Gabriel dealt with Colin’s father, Dessie.
Quoting Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si Dom Malachy said “All of us can cooperate as instruments of God for the care of creation.” This is a small step in our commitment to caring for the environment and our overall Green Campus strategy for Mount Saint Joseph Abbey & Cistercian College.”
