Over the last few days, we have been very privileged to welcome Dr Marsha Dutton, Editor of Cistercian Publications, to MSJ. Marsha Dutton is the foremost scholar on St Aelred of Rievaulx in the world today, and anyone who is acquainted with Cistercian Publications will know her name, as a scholar, editor, translator and mentor. This week, she presented the community with fascinating conferences on two great Cistercian figures of history, St Aelred and Gilbert of Hoyland, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to take part in these. The photos were taken just before Dr Marsha’s departure, when Dom Malachy and Fr Laurence presented her with a copy of our latest book, written by Fr Laurence.
