It was with great gratitude and joy that we celebrated Fr Laurence’s platinum anniversary of his priestly ordination. It is most appropriate that Fr Laurence was ordained on the Feastday of St Joseph the Worker Patron of our monastery as he has been a loyal and faithful worker in Christ’s vineyard that is Mount Saint Joseph Abbey for 76 years and 70 of those as a priest. Fr Laurence wore the same vestments he was ordained in for our Mass today at which he was the chief celebrant.
