Brian Cowen past pupil and former Taoiseach delivered the inaugural Fr Peter Garvey ocso Memorial Lecture last Friday evening on the topic of the 20th Anniversary of The Good Friday Agreement in Cistercian College. It was a wonderful evening with an audience comprising of students ,staff, past staff, monks , Garvey family, parents and past pupils. Brian Cowen gave an excellent and very engaging talk with wonderful insights into the unseen work that helped make the Good Friday Agreement a reality.
